Support for Symfony 6.4 added
With the release of Sulu 2.5.11, Sulu is now compatible with Symfony 6.4. Unfortunately, this required a very small backwards compatibility change on our side as we had to rename 2 methods in our default WebsiteController. Read more about it in our upgrade file, and always follow the step-by-step guide in our documentation to do the upgrade, Upgrading Sulu 2.x.
Lots of code improvements
Besides an extensive list of fixes, our community also worked hard to bring you an improved developer experience by providing better typing. A big thank you here to our community member and contributor @mamazu. Thank you to all the other contributors who made improvements and fixes for this release.
Friends Of Sulu
Another thank you goes out to our community member @TheCadien, who created a new organization on Github called FriendsOfSulu. There you will find not only his NewsBundle package, but also a lot of other Sulu community information, such as blog posts and tutorials.
SuluCommentBundle 2.0 released
Our latest release also contains the first stable version of the SuluCommentBundle. The comment bundle allows your visitors to write comments on your pages or other routes and gives you an easy way to display them. The SuluCommentBundle can be found here, so give it a try if you have a use case for it.
What is coming next?
Currently, we are working on version 2.6, and we are also continuing to polish more bundles. We want to release the SuluCommentBundle and bring Symfony 6 compatibility to the SuluCommunityBundle.
We are happy to hear your feedback about newly released features and bug fixes. Feel free to create an issue or a discussion on GitHub for bugs and feature requests. You can also contact us via Slack or our website anytime.
