Sulu Releases 2.5.29 / 2.6.13 and 3.0.0-beta2
We're making significant progress on Sulu 3.0. Today we're releasing the second beta alongside maintenance updates for 2.5.29 and 2.6.13.
Sulu 3.0.0 Beta 2 released
Last month's first beta marked a major milestone: the complete removal of PHPCR-based content storage. This second beta builds on that foundation by restoring critical functionality that's been in development.
The release brings back segments, audience targeting, article types, the navigation Twig extension, and route history. These additions bring Sulu 3.0 closer to feature parity with 2.x while leveraging the new storage architecture. Check out the full changelog for complete details.
Thanks to everyone who tested the first beta and reported issues. Your feedback is directly shaping this release.
Fixes for 2.5 and 2.6
Our community continues to strengthen the stable releases. Thanks to MarkusHolstein for fixing two crucial bugs: search functionality in the category tree and indexing of global blocks. KotaruS resolved an authentication issue by updating to the newer LoginEvent for failure handling.
As always, mamazu contributed extensive code cleanup that makes ongoing Sulu 3.0 development considerably easier. Jupi007 added a improvement that lets you collapse or expand all blocks at once—a small feature that makes managing complex page layouts significantly smoother.

How to upgrade
For those testing the beta release, we've prepared detailed upgrade instructions in our GitHub repository.
